Suite 72 Interviews: Justin Fines

I’m just a guy from Michigan. I was brought up in the suburbs and had a typical 70′s-80′s childhood. I moved to Detroit at 19, and learned a lot from it. I would suggest that anyone who appreciates sublime large-scale decay go and visit. Make sure you have a buddy who is from there, though, or you won’t see a thing. I moved around a lot, and now I live in NY, in Brooklyn. I feel as though I am entering a whole new phase of my life, getting older and seeing things in a new way. It is painful but necessary and I am never bored. I still love making images, and I love music.

I’m a 23 year old Canadian guy that likes to draw a lot. Most of my work is for the gallery or the street, but I do a little bit of paid design work.
